Peachtree Academy will embark on a $6.5 million dollar building campaign for its new 39 acre campus, off the square in Covington.  The new amenities will enhance the academic opportunities that we already afford our students. 

Private schools benefit students by fostering academic excellence and high achievement by educating students in a value based setting and preparing youngsters for success in life.  The additional support that our school receives from parents, lends itself to our high record of academic excellence. 

According to the June 2002 report titled, Private Schools: A Brief Portrait,  by the U.S. Department of Education, reported some of the findings regarding the academic performance of private schools:

Private school students generally perform higher than their public school counterparts on standardized tests.

Private school students are more likely than their public school peers to have completed advanced level courses in three academic subject areas.

Private school students are more likely than public school students to complete a bachelor's or advanced degree by their mid 20's.

Students who had attended private school in 8th grade were twice as likely as those who had attended public school to have completed a bachelor's or higher degree by their early 20's (52 percent versus 26 percent).

Peachtree Academy Private School Inc. has been deemed an approved 501 (c) (3) public charity by the Internal Revenue Service.  Financial contributions to our foundation are tax deductible under section 170 of the tax code. We are also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers, or gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the code.
