We are pleased to announce the continuing growth and expansion of Peachtree Academy Private School. Peachtree Academy is recognized throughout the East Metro area for “Pursuing Excellence with Honor” and has achieved the highest standards of academic success through its accreditation by the AdvancEd/Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Not only does Peachtree Academy facilitate learning for students in Pre-Kindergarten through High School, but the school also features 2 award winning Early Childhood Development Centers and a well-acclaimed before and after school enrichment program as well as a Summer Camp program.

Teaching can be a demanding profession for those who are considered to be the best in their field. A Degree in Education and/or specialized field of teaching is a minimum requirement with preference given to those who have a Master’s Degree, or are certified in a given area of concentration. Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years teaching experience and be technologically proficient with SMART boards and student advancement software. The following positions are currently available:


Secondary English Teacher

Candidate must have a Bachelors degree in education, Masters Degree preferred.


Early Childhood Education Teacher

Candidate must have a minimum of an associate’s degree in early childhood education and/or at least 3 years of experience working with children from infant to pre-school. Current CPR, First Aid, and Fire Safety certification a plus.


After School/Camp Teacher

Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience working with children ages 4-12. Must be available between 12:00 pm and 6:30 pm Monday through Friday. Current CPR, First Aid, and Fire Safety certification a plus.


Substitute Teacher

Candidate must have a Bachelors degree in education and a minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in a classroom.
